Incident Summary:

At 1823 hrs. on Monday January 21st, West Benton Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a Commercial Structure Fire, located at 1855 Wine Country Rd.  On arrival crews found heavy smoke and fire conditions within the unit involved, with smoke extending into the other surrounding units.  Fire crews made a quick offensive attack confining the main fire to the unit of origin. 

There were no reported civilian or firefighter injuries however, at this time one unit has been displaced as a direct result of smoke and fire damage; another 60-80 residents have been displaced due to power being cut to the complex.

Red Cross has a shelter in place for these residents, located at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 201 Birch Grandview, Wa.
